Wenzhou University
Wenzhou University is the only comprehensive university in southern Zhejiang, northern Fujian and eastern Jiangxi, a key construction university in Zhejiang Province, and a doctoral degree awarding unit. It is located in Wenzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China and a leading area of reform and opening up. The school was formed by the merger of Wenzhou Normal University and the former Wenzhou University in 2004. It has a history of 89 years. Academician Gu Chaohao, the winner of the National Highest Science and Technology Award, served as president.
